Terms of Service
Version 2.0 · Last updated: 22.10.2026
1. Who we are
These Terms govern access to and use of Reframe (the "Service", "we", "us", "our").
Service operator: NG Software ApS, a Danish private limited company (anpartsselskab), CVR 46862791, registered address Angusvej 12, 5400 Bogense, Denmark.
Contact: ngtechnologyaps@gmail.com · Contact page
2. Acceptance of these Terms and changes to them
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
We may change these Terms only for a valid reason: a change in the law or a decision of a court or authority, a change to the Service (for example new features, new plans or a new payment provider), protecting the Service against abuse or security risks, or making the Terms clearer.
We tell you about a change at least 30 days before it takes effect, by e-mail or in the Service, and we explain what changes. Corrections that do not affect your rights, and changes required by law at shorter notice, may take effect sooner. When a new version applies, we ask you to accept it the next time you sign in.
If you have a paid plan and a change is to your disadvantage, you can end your subscription before the change takes effect, and we refund the part of any period you have already paid for that falls after the end. If you do not have a paid plan and do not agree with a change, you can stop using the Service and delete your account.
This version (2.0) replaces version 1.1. If you already have an account, it applies to you from when you accept it.
3. The Service
The Service helps users draft, tailor, and format job-application materials (e.g., resume/CV, cover letter) based on content provided by the user, including AI-assisted functionality.
4. Accounts and access
If the Service requires an account:
- You must provide accurate information and keep your access credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account unless caused by our fault.
- We may restrict or suspend access to protect the Service, prevent abuse, or comply with law.
5. Free access and usage limits
The Service can be used free of charge, subject to usage limits (e.g., daily quotas, feature caps, rate limits). We may change the limits of free use to protect the Service and manage operational costs. What a paid plan includes is shown before you buy it; changes to it follow section 2 and section 12.
6. Pilot program
Reframe currently operates as a pilot. During the pilot:
- The Service can be used free of charge. Nobody is moved to a paid plan automatically: paid access starts only when you choose a plan and complete a purchase at checkout.
- Features may change, appear, or be withdrawn at a faster pace than usual, and occasional instability is more likely than in a general-availability service.
- We may ask for product feedback (surveys, optional interviews). Participation is voluntary and never a condition of using the Service.
- Your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy; the pilot status does not reduce your rights there, including account deletion and data export.
7. Paid plans
This section applies if and when you buy a paid plan or pass. Until then, nothing in it obliges you to pay anything. Our Refunds & cancellation page explains the same rules with examples.
7.1 What you can buy
You can buy a subscription plan, billed monthly, quarterly or yearly, or a one-time pass that gives paid access for a fixed period and does not renew. Which plans and passes are offered, and what each includes, is shown before you buy.
7.2 Price, taxes and billing period
Before you pay, we show the price, the billing period, whether the purchase renews and the amount charged on renewal. The price shown includes VAT and any other taxes that apply; there are no additional fees. Prices may be shown in your local currency.
7.3 How the contract is concluded
The steps to conclude a contract are: (1) you choose a plan or pass and a billing period; (2) on our confirmation step you see the price, the billing period, the renewal and how to cancel, you accept these Terms and our Refunds & cancellation rules, and you ask us to start the paid service right away; (3) you enter your payment details on the Link checkout page and confirm the payment. The contract is concluded when the payment is confirmed. Until you confirm the payment you can correct any input by going back or changing it on the checkout page.
The contract is concluded in English. We store a record of your purchase and of the version of these Terms you accepted. After the purchase we send you a confirmation e-mail with a copy of these Terms, and every version of these Terms stays available from us on request.
7.4 Renewal and cancellation
A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period for the same period, until you cancel it. If the price of your plan changes, we tell you at least 30 days before the renewal at the new price, and you can cancel before then. You can cancel at any time on the Billing page of your account, in the customer portal opened from that page, on link.com, or by writing to us. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your paid access continues until the end of the current period, and you are not charged again.
7.5 Changing plans
An upgrade to a higher plan or a longer billing period takes effect immediately; you are charged the difference for the rest of the current period, shown before you confirm. A downgrade to a lower plan or a shorter billing period takes effect at the end of the current period.
7.6 Your 14-day right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you can withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of the day the contract is concluded, without giving a reason.
Paid access starts right away. Before you pay, we ask you to request expressly that the service starts immediately, and to acknowledge that you keep the right to withdraw but pay for the service provided until you withdraw. If you withdraw, we refund everything you paid under the contract minus a proportionate amount for the days of paid access you had, each started day counted as one.
To withdraw, use the "Withdraw from contract" function on the Billing page of your account, which is shown there during the 14 days, or send us a clear statement by e-mail. We confirm by e-mail that we received your statement, with the date and time. Your paid access ends when you withdraw, and the refund is issued to your original payment method without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days of your statement.
7.7 Ending a renewed quarterly or yearly term early
If your quarterly or yearly subscription has renewed at least once, you can end the current term at any time. We then refund the full months of that term that have not yet started, in proportion to the price you paid for the term; the subscription ends at once and your account moves to the Free plan. This option is not available in the first term of a subscription; there you can use the right of withdrawal or cancel at the end of the period.
7.8 Other refunds
Beyond the cases above, we may refund a payment at our discretion as a goodwill gesture, for example when a technical problem on our side kept you from using what you paid for, if you ask within the period stated on our Refunds & cancellation page. A goodwill refund is not a right and does not limit your statutory rights.
7.9 Payment problems
If a renewal payment fails, Link tries again and tells you how to update your payment method. If the payment stays unpaid, the subscription ends and your account moves to the Free plan. If a payment is reversed or disputed, we may suspend the paid access it paid for.
7.10 Legal guarantee
The paid service must conform to what we describe. If it does not, you have the remedies of the legal guarantee for digital services under Danish and EU law: we bring the service into conformity, or you can claim a price reduction or end the contract. These Terms do not limit those rights.
7.11 When a plan or pass ends
When a subscription or pass ends for any reason, your documents stay in your account and your usage limits return to those of the Free plan.
8. Purchases sold through Link
Paid plans and passes are sold by Sold through Link, LLC ("Link"), a Stripe company, which acts as merchant of record for your purchase. Link sells you the plan or pass on our behalf, takes the payment, charges and remits the taxes that apply, and sends your receipts, invoices, refund notices and certain subscription e-mails (such as renewal reminders) in its own name. Link's terms and privacy notice apply to the payment.
Your card or bank statement shows the charge as LINK.COM* followed by our name. On link.com you can see your orders, cancel or update a subscription and change your payment method.
For questions about payments, billing or refunds you can contact us or Link support. Link may also refund a purchase in certain cases within 60 days of the original transaction, under its own refund policy.
NG Software ApS provides the Service and remains responsible for the Service, including the legal guarantee in section 7.10.
We may move the sale of paid plans to another payment provider or reseller, or sell them ourselves. We tell you at least 30 days before such a change takes effect and who will charge you from then on. If you do not want that, you can cancel your subscription before the change takes effect.
9. Your content and permissions
"User Content" includes any text or files you upload or enter (resume/CV, job descriptions, notes, generated drafts).
You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your User Content only to provide and maintain the Service (e.g., parsing, generating outputs, displaying, exporting, storing in your account if applicable, and addressing support/security issues).
You represent that you have the rights and permissions necessary to upload and use your User Content.
10. AI/LLM outputs and disclaimers
The Service uses third-party AI/LLM providers (currently OpenAI and Google Gemini) to generate or rewrite text. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate.
You agree that you will review and verify outputs before using or sharing them. The Service is not legal, HR, tax, or immigration advice and does not guarantee any hiring outcome (interviews/offers) or ATS performance.
AI-content marking. Exported PDF files include document-properties metadata identifying that the content was prepared with AI assistance. Text copied from the Service carries an equivalent marker in its rich-text (HTML) clipboard format where technically feasible; plain-text clipboard content cannot technically carry metadata, and we show an in-app notice at the moment of copying instead. Do not remove or misrepresent provenance information when presenting documents as fully human-written where AI assistance was material.
11. Prohibited use
You must not:
- violate applicable laws or third-party rights;
- upload malware or attempt to disrupt or compromise the Service;
- bypass usage limits, reverse engineer the Service, or resell access;
- access, scrape, crawl or monitor the Service by automated means (including bots, crawlers, scrapers, headless browsers and scripts), except search-engine and AI-search crawlers that identify themselves by their user agent and respect our robots.txt, and only to the extent robots.txt permits;
- circumvent, disable or interfere with technical measures that protect or restrict access to the Service, including bot protection, challenges, rate limits and IP-address or user-agent restrictions, for example by rotating proxies or presenting an automated client as an ordinary browser;
- use the Service, its templates, designs, previews or interface text to build, train, benchmark or improve a competing product or service, or for systematic competitive analysis;
- copy, reproduce or redistribute the Service's design templates, previews or interface text, except as part of your own documents;
- use the Service to create or distribute unlawful, harmful, or discriminatory content.
These restrictions do not limit your rights in your own User Content (section 9).
12. Availability and changes to the Service
We develop the Service continuously and may add, change or remove features. We do not substantially reduce what a paid plan you have bought includes during a period you have paid for, unless the law, security or a provider's withdrawal requires it; if we must, we tell you in advance and section 2 applies, including your right to end the subscription with a refund. The Service may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or because of incidents.
13. No warranties
Apart from the legal guarantee in section 7.10 and other rights you have under mandatory law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all other warranties (including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement).
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including lost profits, lost opportunities, or reputational harm).
- For free use of the Service, our total liability is limited to EUR 0.
- If you have a paid plan or pass, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event that caused the damage.
These limits do not apply to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, to injury to life, body or health, or where mandatory law, including consumer law, does not allow liability to be excluded or limited.
15. Account deletion
You can delete your account from your profile page. Deletion is not immediate: your account closes and cannot be signed into right away, we email you a link to cancel (contact us if it does not arrive), and if you do not use it your data is permanently erased after a grace period. What is deleted, what is retained (and why, including our anti-abuse suppression record), and the exact grace period and retention windows are set out in the Privacy Policy (section 9).
If you have a paid subscription, asking to delete your account stops it from renewing. Paid access continues until the end of the paid period or until your account is erased, whichever comes first. Deleting your account is not a withdrawal and does not by itself refund the current period; to withdraw or end a renewed term early, do that first (sections 7.6 and 7.7).
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that may apply in your country of residence within the EU/EEA.
